On 9/16/22, ten FFA members competed in the Equine Judging contest at SIUC. At the event, the members evaluate and place horses in the order they believe to be correct. Our Varsity team placed 2nd in Section 22 and 7th overall, three members from that team got top ten in the section. Madelynn Mohr placed 4th, Emma Carter placed 5th, and Claire Ellner placed 9th. Our J.V. team got 3rd in Section 22 and 11th out of the entire contest. Two members placed top ten in Section 22 from that team: Olivia Schulter placed 5th and Piper Crawford placed 6th.
