On March 15th the Red Bud FFA Chapter participated in the Horticulture CDE at SWIC in Belleville Illinois. The team competed against other chapters in Section 22. The teams had to take a test about horticulture, they had to judge the quality of plants ranking them from best to worst, and they had to identify certain species of plants. The Red Bud Varsity Team members were Austin Krebs, Kylie Tobin, Alyssa Hahn, Lucas Grohmann, and Noah Kassing. The members of the JV team were Adam Siegfried, Austin Kiefer, Breanna Autry, Kaydence Wild, and Paige DeMond.
