February SAE
Every month a committee within the Red Bud FFA chapter selects a member to be honored with the SAE of the month distinction. SAE stands for supervised agricultural experience, a work experience where students keep a record book of what they have done and learned as they conduct a project of their choice. Projects can range from paying jobs to hobby farm activities. The FFA member being recognized for the month of February is the chapter Greenhouse Manager, Kylie Tobin. Her SAE involves floriculture, food science, specialty animals, and small animals. Kylie has logged 469 hours in her SAE, 149 hours in FFA, and 11 service hours. Congratulations Kylie!
