On February 25 the Red Bud FFA had a mullet judging contest. The contestants were Max Simpson, Jake Siegfried, Austin Umbdenstock, Caleb Guebert, Caleb Durbin, Chase Young, Mason Cowell, Hayden Donjon, and Joe Kalmer. Mason Cowell had the best freshman mullet, Caleb Durbin had the best sophomore mullet, Austin Umbdenstock had the best junior mullet, and Max Simpson had the best senior mullet. Max Simpson had the best mullet overall.
