The Red Bud FFA had three members progress to districts in the SAE Proficiency contest. SAE stands for Supervised Agricultural Experience, a work experience where students keep a record book of what they have done and learned as they conduct a project of their choice. The members are Harlie Braun with her Goat Production SAE, Madelynn Mohr with her Equine Production SAE, and Olivia Schluter and her Dairy Cattle Production SAE. These members will attend the district competition on March 8th in Mt. Vernon, where they will be interviewed by judges about their SAE’s.
