The Red Bud FFA had members attend the Section 22 Leadership Training School (LTS). This is a conference where members learn teamwork, leadership, and communication skills. This year it was at Wescln High School. The activity they did to learn teamwork skills was a group of students had to build a cup tower using rubber bands. They also did a group project and they had to figure out how to survive on an island with the supplies they were given. For communication, they did an activity where they had to express their emotions based on the way they present themselves and how they are able to read someone’s emotions through body language. The final thing they did was describe themselves on a poster they wrote down their personality and their character traits.
