The Red Bud FFA participated in the food science CDE this past week at SIU Carbondale. At this event, members had to do a group project which was to make a cereal box and decorate it. After they made the cereal box they answered questions about the nutrition and the production of the product. Then they had to take a written exam, a math test, an aroma test, and a taste test. At this event the Varsity team placed fifth and the JV team placed second.
