Episode 7 Recap

At the end of episode 7, the tribal members were all trying to figure out who to vote out as all of their previous plans had now fallen out. After about 5 minutes of deliberation, they all went in to, vote. The person who ended up getting voted out was Sydney as she didn’t really fit in much with others and she just wasn’t a favorite person to win.

Episode 8: Betraydar

Moving into this episode, the remaining members of the Yellow tribe are scrambling to stay afloat. They all are mostly public enemies and they are disliked by most of the other tribe members. Xander, Evvie, and Tiffany are all talking to different people just trying to squeeze into an alliance so they can get their own safety. Shan, the devil pastor, is also a large focal point in this episode. She spends it whining and trying to make people feel bad for her and she is just trying to fool more people in order to get herself further along in the game; Shan plays the game very smartly, I just hate that she is succeeding so well.

After the opening segments, we get into the reward challenge for this episode. This challenge is essentially a water race that ends up leading to a puzzle. This challenge was won by Evvie and she absolutely crushed the puzzle in the end. It took her maybe 10-20 seconds for a puzzle that might have taken others 4 times longer. She ends up revealing that she had seen the puzzle on a past season of the show that she had watched. This shows that she is experienced a good amount in the knowledge of the game and it at least showed me that she was more dangerous than I thought.

After this, we go right into the immunity challenge for the episode. This challenge is a game where the members balance on their toes and keep a block in place with their heads.  Evvie won this challenge, it didn’t last long, and her winning immunity ended up ruining a plan that she was unaware of. 

Everyone was planning to vote out Evvie and by her winning immunity, no one really knew who to vote for. At tribal council, there is a close vote between 4 people. The 4 people that are at risk of being eliminated are Heather, Naseer, Xander, and Tiffany.
