Lady Musketeers Add Another Win to the Record

On Wednesday March 27th, the Red Bud lady Musketeers faced the Mascoutah lady Indians away for the only game of the week. The lady Musketeers started off the game strong by scoring three runs in the first inning with a leadoff hit from Todaro followed by hits from Cowell and Allen. The lady Indians battled back by scoring three runs in the bottom of the first to tie the game up. The Musketeers didn’t stop there and battled back by scoring another run in the second with a hit from Stengel. They continued to score by adding two runs in the fifth and four more in the seventh without allowing any more runs from Mascoutah. The Red Bud lady Musketeers took the victory with a final score of 10-3.


Cowell went 2/3; Stengel and Guebert 2/4; Todaro 1/3; Allen 1/4.

Durbin pitched seven innings allowing three hits and three walks and had five strikeouts.


Next week the lady Musketeers plan on having a home game on Tuesday, April 2 against Chester. Thursday, April 4 they plan on traveling to Dupo and Friday, April 5 they are traveling to Okawville. To close off next week, the lady Musketeers plan on having a home game against Belleville East on Saturday April 6.
