We recently attended the musical, “Hamilton” at the Fox Theatre in Downtown St. Louis on April 17th. This was the first show we have seen at The Fox and it is, by far, the best show we have ever seen. Words cannot describe how well put together and planned out this musical is as a whole. All the actors were well trained and talented. The musical was written by Lin-Manuel Miranda, who played Hamilton in the New York show on Broadway. The story starts in 1776 New York City and takes viewers throughout Alexander Hamilton’s life beginning with the Revolutionary War to the Constitutional Convention until his death at the hands of Aaron Burr. The music, singing, and choreography were absolutely stunning. We really felt like we were a part of history. There are too many good things to say about this musical. It is definitely something that everyone should add to their bucket list! However, Hamilton will not be back in St. Louis until 2019 or 2020, so make sure, when tickets go on sale, you are paying attention because they will go fast. When Hamilton comes to St. Louis again the Cowell brothers will be in the audience!
