A new school year means changes and perhaps new faces. This year we welcomed a few new teachers to our building, one being Mr. Bill Menn. He grew up in Freeburg, Illinois where he played high school baseball and football. In 2014, he graduated from Murray State University in Kentucky with a bachelor degree in math. He taught math for one year in Benton, Kentucky. From there Mr. Menn returned to Freeburg High School where he taught for almost two years. While at Freeburg, he was an aid in the special education department, coached baseball and football. Although hired to fill an open position in the special education department at Red Bud High School, he recently began teaching multiple sections of algebra2. Mr. Menn acknowledges that it has been a crazy start to the school year but he is excited for the opportunity and happy to be a member of the Red Bud High School faculty.
