RBHS Academic Challenge Team Takes 2nd Place @ Regionals
On Friday, February 5, the RBHS ACES team participated in the Regional competition virtually. Students on the team met in Mr. Magee’s classroom and proceeded to take two academic challenge tests before eating pizza and heading home for the weekend. Even though the team is small this year, it is definitely mighty. With the 2nd place win, the team will now advance to the Sectional competition in March.
Individual awards went to Dylan Roscow, 1st in Math and Computer Science; Ethan Fritsche, 1st in Physics; Ben DeRousse, 2nd in Engineering Graphics; Max Rodenmeyer, 3rd in Engineering Graphics; Hannah Sievers, 2nd in Chemistry; and Bailey Fulton, 3rd in English and 3rd in Chemistry.
