Voting is an important component of a free society. The ability to participate and be heard is a powerful tool in guaranteeing that the ideals of a democracy burn bright. According to census.gov only 46.1% of those between the ages of 18-29 exercised their right to vote in the 2016 presidential election compared with 70.9% of those 65 and older. 

If you are a U.S. citizen, live in Randolph county, and will be 18 years old on or before November 3, 2020, Red Bud High School will do its part by simplifying the registration process. So bring your driver’s license to Ms. Dahm’s room and she will quickly register you to vote.
