Red Bud Lady Musketeers played the Freeburg Midgets on Saturday, December 7th, 2019. It was a rough game. In the first quarter, the Lady Musketeers scored four points. Sami Lucht made a two-pointer and Hannah Sievers went two for two from the free throw line.  Freeburg scored twelve points to make the game four to twelve going into halftime. 

The second quarter was slightly better on the scoring side of things when Red Bud scored eight points. Chloe Wild made a two-point shot and Sievers made another two free throws. Lucht and Claire Grohmann each made one free throw and Grohmann scored a two-pointer. Freeburg, unfortunately, also stepped up their game, scoring nineteen points and leading by nineteen going into halftime. 

During the third quarter, six points were added to Red Bud’s score. Olivia Carle and Grohmann each score a two-pointer. Amber Stengal then made both of her free throws. With thirteen points added in the quarter for the Midgets, the score was eighteen to forty-four. 

Another six points were put up in the fourth quarter, all by Meredith Whelan with her two two-pointers and two free throws. Sadly, Freeburg scored another fourteen points and the Lady Musketeers lost twenty-four to fifty-eight.
