On Monday October 14th, RBHS freshman Bailey Fulton auditioned for and was selected to Illinois Music Educators Association District 6, All-District Band. Bailey was among approximately 1100 high school musicians to audition. The schools in District 6 cover Madison to White Counties and South. The schools are not categorized by size for this event. The audition included performing scales, etudes, and sight-reading a piece. Bailey is the first student from Red Bud in many years to accomplish this feat. The concert for the All-District Band will be November 2nd at SIUC. The time of the concert is not yet available. Congratulations Bailey!
