BRING HOME MEDALS–Medaling for Red Bud High School in the top 100 of their respective runs at the cross country meet held at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville on Aug. 31 were: seniors Eddie Miller and Calyn Hartmann, junior Adrienne Vallett and freshmen Simone Liefer. Over 500 athletes from high schools of all sizes across the Midwest came out to tackle the D1 hilly course on a hot August day. A big congratulations to the RBHS athletes for finishing with the lead pack.

MEDAL AT MEET–Last Wednesday, Columbia hosted a Relays Cross County meet. Congratulations goes to Red Bud High School’s varsity girls relay team for medaling on this very hilly and difficult course that involved crossing a small creek. The relay team members were: senior Ellie Suhre, junior Adrienne Vallett and senior Calyn Hartmann. Also receiving a medal for winning the open race after the relays was sophomore Isaac Miller.
