Get ready for the spring Band and Chorus concert, and the Art show on Sunday, April 6. Come enjoy tons of great art by the Art I, II, III, and IV students. There will be 3 girls from the Art IV portfolio class who will have whole tables filled with their work. Emma Salger, Cora Trask, and Hannah Peil are having their last hurrah of their time at RBHS.

The band and chorus classes took their annual Elementary “tour” on April 23rd. The band played some of their football and basketball music from earlier in the year, but the chorus used to opportunity to practice two of their songs which will be performed on the 6th. The advanced music ensemble and contemporary classes did not join on the trip, but will be performing at the concert. Both classes are planning to perform more pop based music compared to the other two. Songs by Pink Floyd, Owl City, and Modest Mouse are just a sample of the musicians who will be covered by the music classes.

All of the classes have spent all semester practicing or creating to have the concert and show be as great as it is every year. With the direction and help from Mr. Junge and Mrs. Bandy, the show has been a great success for many years. The concert and show is on Sunday, May 6th. The doors open at 3:00 and the musical performance begins at 4:00. There is no charge for admission, but some of the artists may have tip jars or items for sale. Come take a look at some of the work that’s been created by the students or listen to our amazing music classes.
