2018 NCAA Tournament
The 2018 NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament begins today. The tournament features some of the best college basketball in the world. Virginia earned the number one seed overall by going 31-2 (17-1 ACC). The other number one seeds are Villanova (30-4, 14-4 Big East), Xavier (28-5, 15-3 Big East), and Kansas (27-7, 13-5 Big 12). Cincinnati, Duke, North Carolina, and Purdue all earned number 2 seeds. The 3 seeds for the tournament are Michigan State, Michigan, Tennessee, and Texas Tech. The tournament always has the potential for upsets, and this year is no different. Teams like South Dakota St. and New Mexico St., in the 12 seed always have the chance for and upset. Teams also like Loyola-Chicago, winners of the MVC, and San Diego St. have a chance for an upset as an 11 seed. My predictions for the Final Four are North Carolina out of the West Regional, Duke out of the Midwest Regional, Villanova out of the East Regional, and Virgina out of the South Regional. My prediction of the National Championship is Virginia over Duke in an all-ACC National Championship game. Over the next three weeks, there will be unforgettable upsets and moments, so sit back and enjoy the fun of March Madness.
