Our second highlighted new teacher is Mrs. Kellsie Roth. Kellsie will be teaching English at RBHS. From Mrs. Roth:

This is my first year as a teacher in my own classroom! However, I completed my student teaching experience at Collinsville Middle School and Collinsville High School. I love movies (especially Sundance Film Festival films), yoga, and anything outdoors (fishing, hiking, and camping). I’m most interested in creating a classroom where students feel comfortable and safe in taking risks and trying new things. My favorite YA novel: Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe by Benhamin Alire Saenz. My favorite classic novel: Frankenstein by Mary Shelley. I’m most looking forward to becoming a part of the RBHS community! The support from staff and the enthusiasm from students has been inspiring and I’m excited to be a part of it!
