This year’s varsity girl’s golf team consists of nine girls. The team is coached by Drew Schneider. There are five seniors, Jessie Deterding, Mandy Gantner, Hope Guebert, Amber Mollet, and Emma Siegfried. Kylie Ellner, Reese Foster, and Amber Stengel are the juniors. Maegan Brookman is the sophomore. The girl’s golf team started their season off with a win against Sparta. Some of the toughest competition the team has faced are Columbia and Pinckneyville. This year’s Conference match, hosted at North County Country Club, was a success for Hope Guebert. She placed 8th overall with a score of 91 for eighteen holes. Their regional match will take place October 3, 2018 at the Roland Barkau Memorial Golf Course in Okawville, Il. The team is hoping for a successful end to their season.
