Boys’ Golf

The Musketeer boy’s golf team has been in match play over the last couple weeks. Unfortu- nately, the team has come up short against Wesclin, Breese Central, and Columbia. Even though the wins did not materialize, the team is getting better with scores getting lower with every match. “My hope is for the boys to be ready for next week when we play in our conference tournament at Governor’s Run in Carlyle,” said Coach Terry Meyer.

“Caleb Langrehr, Alex Kue- ker, Jesse Suhre, and Austin Grohmann have been the main scorers for most of the season thus far. I am still looking for one or two of my younger golf- ers to score low and take a little pressure off the top four. Overall, I am happy with the season and look forward to conference and regional play,” added Meyer.

This week the team was host to Freeburg on Wednesday and play Waterloo on Thursday at the Acorns.
