Legit Food Review: Rice and Fries

Recently, myself and my fellow accomplices, Kobe Brosch and Parker Van Dorn, decided to pay a visit to “Rice and Fries” in Sparta, IL.  “Rice and Fries” is an authentic Chinese buffet that also features a limited American food section. The interior of the restaurant was very clean and did not seem outdated.  When we walked in, we were seated immediately and our server took our drink orders. We then proceed to the main event: The Buffet. We each loaded our plates with food and returned to the table.  My plate consisted of a serving of hot pepper chicken, 2 steamed pork dumplings, 2 crab rangoons, and a serving of low mein. I was extremely impressed with not only how well the food tasted, but how fresh it all was.  We continued to the dessert section of the restaurant, in which we found a freezer filled with 5 huge tubs of icecream, that you can scoop manually. Pricing at “Rice and Fries” varies per time and day, but for a Saturday afternoon, we were only charged $8.50 for all we could eat.  If you are looking for a cheap, tasty, clean, Chinese buffet, I would recommend “Rice and Fries”. This restaurant gets a rating of 7.7 starts out of 10 from me, and I will definitely be dining in again sometime soon.
