**NEW TEACHER SPOTLIGHT**
RBHS graduate Vicky Mudd returns to RBHS this year as a special education teacher and special education coordinator.
Mrs. Mudd is married to Jason Mudd with 2 children- Warren (16) and Nolan (12) and has allowed 2 stray cats to join the family- Cleveland and Stampy. She lives in Evansville, IL. Her parents, Dave and Bridgie Young, and her sister, Jenny Fadler, are a huge part of their lives as well.
She has a Bachelors in Special Education (SIUE) and Masters as a Reading Specialist (Concordia University-Chicago); taught at PEP for 7 years then at Waterloo for 7 years; graduated from RBHS- Class of 2000.
She enjoys running- on road and trail. She also enjoys traveling and learning about/ collecting antiques. Educationally she is interested in learning more about bridging the gap between mainstream remedial literacy instruction and special education literacy instruction. Her favorite book is Bridge to Terabithia- because she read it with my 8th grade teacher who was a huge inspiration for her.
The one thing she is looking forward to this year is reading with her students and helping them find a book they do not want to put down.
Welcome back to RBHS Mrs. Mudd!
